BATON ROUGE, La. - Southern University Law Center students participating in a study abroad program in London this summer are safe in light of an early morning bombing attack on the subway system.

It has been confirmed by SULC Professor Maurice Franks, in London, that students were all accounted for and in classes at the time of the attack.

Twenty students, along with two faculty members, and the school's chancellor are participating in a six-week program at London City University.

This is the first year the program was offered for SULC students. The students are earning six credit hours studying private international law and international criminal law, and are expected to return on July 22.

Professor Franks can be reached via email at sulclondon@yahoo.com.
